"Roy Reinard is a Bucks County native active in the New Hope Art Community...he is showing landscape paintings executed in the traditional manner...and invites viewers into a landscape scene..."
The Trenton Times, August 2014
"Roy Reinard ....Strong sence of light and color, composition, well balanced, masterful handling of paint. The viewer is pulled into the scene and feels quiet emotion...beautiful painterly work, sensitive, with mastery of materials."
Ellen Bradshaw, Pleiades Gallery SOHO New York, September 2014
The beauty that surrounds Bucks County and the neighboring New Jersey area has given me a keen appreciation of the living art that surrounds all of us. Growing up in Bucks County and living in New Hope has fostered my desire to capture the beauty here. After many years of seeing art from that as a patron and collector I started painting in 2007. Wanting to grow in my work, I went from self study my first year to working since with the talented artists: Myles Cavanugh, Ty Hodanish, Alex Cohen, Robert Beck, Larry Chestnut and John Ennis.
I am on the Board of Directors of Artsbridge, and a member of the New Hope Art League, Artists of Yardley, the New Hope Arts, the Michener Art Museum and the Trenton Museum Society. I am a participating artist in the Netherfield Gallery in New Hope, Pa located at 11 E. Bridge Street. My landscape and cityscape paintings are in the gallery for view and purchase. Gallery hours are Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 12-5pm.
